Publisher's Description
From jean-louis valero:
When you make an editing with FinalCutPro, its not easy to export your sound tracks to another software like Protools. Avid has a function (OMF) which converts its sound files into a Protools session, but currently FinalCutPro has only an edl export. But, each edl can contains only 4 sound tracks in its description, so you must create 3 edls for 12 sound tracks. Worse, edls are a mix between video, effects and sounds placements and are a little bit illegible...
EdLoopy can read 4 edls, clean them and export them in a database format (tabulation) with the name of each sound, its duration, its cut-in, its cut-out, and its position (in & out) into the movie. If you import the database into FIleMaker or Excel, first creating pertinent rubrics, it will be easier to import your sound files an place them into Protools or another software . You must put EdLoopy.dxr into LoopyLoops modules folder. To use it, click on Extensions and open it. EdLoopy is given with an empty file in FileMaker Pro 5 format.
