Version: Eclipse SDK 3.1.2
"Brings new definition to slothful application development"
Pros: Nice fonts and colors.
Cons: You'll step back in time 10 years... if you enjoy that kind of thing.
Plugins... lovely... Takes so many hours and so much cobbling together to get anything resembling productivity that it simply isn't worth it.
Each individual project is so very over engineered, thus applications developed on them are over engineered. Complexity introduced for the sake of complexity is not really the most sought after attribute of a development environment or application framework. So much work to get so little done...

Version: Eclipse SDK 3.1.2
"Almost too hard to believe its free!!"
Pros: This IDE is a programmer's dream! From my experience, this even rivals Borland's JBuilder masterpiece! The amount of plugins are mindblowing! This is definitely a keeper!

Version: Eclipse SDK 3.1.2
Pros: It's incredible. This free IDE allows one to program in perl, php, java, python, ruby, c++ cold fusion and J2EE, under on roof.
Cons: Only downside is that this IDE start with few plug-ins. I had to install plugins to get the features I wanted.
