Small and serviceable, Easy Undelete handles most file-recovery tasks--but not all. The program first scans a drive, then allows you to run searches by name, date, and even content. The interface looks like Windows Explorer, with lost files and folders represented in a tree view. Search results are saved (for the current session only) as part of this tree. You can view found files in a hexadecimal viewer and choose which clusters to restore. This may be useful, for example, with a Word document that has been partially overwritten. Deleted files are its forte, and in our testing, the program had no trouble recovering data on a diskette. Easy Undelete can restore information if an entire disk or partition is damaged. The demo version only recovers files smaller than 32KB, which may put some users off. Easy Undelete will do for those with occasional file-rescue needs.Publisher's description

"Seems good but didn't serve my purpose as the recovered doc is unreadable"

Pros: I have a 500 GB Seagate xternal HD for about 7 months now. A few day ago I had to format my C: drive on my pc. All my pic and docs where still there until a few days ago and then suddenly most of them where gone. I tried to use Seagate recovery tool. Not easy to use or useful. Then I tried this easy undelete.Wow it got most of my pics back I can say at least 98% of them. Still don't know what about the rest. Still I am quite happy with results. I am going to buy this version of the software.

"Very easy to operate and understand."
Pros: Very fast recovery of deleted files and then just put the files into your own folders
Cons: No bad things at the moment
Summary: Lots to try out so am really unable to give you any positive or negative, feedback at this stage.
