Summary
I like that my internet security has taken another step forward and in my hands, it feels awesome. Not knowing my true ID/location is perfect. You will however experience a slowdown when using Easy-Hide-IP but they are worth the minor wait, (seconds) and cost for your ID theft protection for the price. This is just one way to deal with the ongoing issues of internet security. You must however realize that this will not work if you fail to take certain other pre cautions yourself. Some being; don't answer to anyone asking for your financial or personal information online, whether over the phone or in emails. And don't click on those links either. We live in a world where people fall prey to scams from fast and smooth talkers.
My above thoughts co-inside with using EZ-Hide-IP because it allows you to surf the web securely. I have not had any issues since downloading from C-Net downloads and using the program. Before getting online I just select the Any Country and the Change Every IP time and go surfing. Now please note, if you use any connection within Easy-Hide-IP you will notice that at secure sites that utilize a verification process i.e. banking, shopping, etc. they will require that verification and ask you for it every time to secure your true identity. This is for your protection and it works great for me and I don't mind. This is because those sites log the IP address of the computer you are using at the time you gain access. You'll know Easy-Hide-IP is working because when you return to the secure site, unless you are using the same IP address, it will ask for verification again, or just ask the usual authentications. This is the only issue, and not a problem, I've encountered.
I've tested some of over 150 plus IP addresses separately and those connected fairly quickly. There is a meter indicating the strength. You will also see a reduction (I did) in "side bar" location advertisements from some search engine pages because your computer is logged at a different location. Just seeing where I'm "AT" online gives you the security. You can also add programs to a list of traffic that's redirected which also encrypts your connections. I've tried the others and this one seems far easier to use and recommend you try the free trial. I believe after you've used the free trial you will purchase this product. I did. -

I attemped to uninstall the same day that I installed it. BIG MISTAKE!!!
MY BROWSER WENT CRAZY AND LIKE 100 WINDOWS LOADED. IT WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET MY BROWSER WINDOWS TO STOP LOADING MUCH LESS UNINSTALL EASY-HIDE.Summary
DO NOT plan on uninstalling it close to the time that you installed it. My browser (Firefox) went crazy and loaded like 100 windows at once as soon as I attempted to uninstall Easy-Hide. When I did try it out it did seem to work okay. I was not impressed. Good luck!!

Having Easy-Hide-IP on your computer is just as important as having antivirus software on your computer. Simple to install. Simple to use. It does what it is advertised to do.

Summary
Easy-Hide-IP is one of the best products I've invested in to secure my privacy. Before I purchased this product it was like surfing the internet with a big name tag on my front shirt pocket. Information should only be available on a "need to know" basis and this product provides that security.

It is very easy to install and run, and you can see what IP you are connecting to and where it is located, with IPs available in Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

None that I can think of. I've heard some people have said they had problems when using Mozilla with it but it's always worked for me.
Summary
If someone has the resources and is really determined, they can probably still track you down. But this gives me an extra layer of security that most people aren't using, and by routing through foreign countries the legal issues of demanding info from the host IP address gets complicated. I'm very happy with it. Good value, too.

No ads, easy to load and understand, fast. If the IP address I am using is blocked by a site, it is easily changed. I live overseas and wanted BBC and US tv shows. Hulu can usually block me,but BBC, the major networks, etc, are no problem at all

Summary
The hassle of the free hiders was too much: ads, ads, ads and slow loading. This has been a blessing for a reasonable price. I am not a teenager and not tech savvy, but this is surely the best of the 4 programs I tested (two freebies and another one that cost more). Highly recommend it.

Summary
I have used Easy-Hide-IP for a long while now and I love it when things just work. Easy Hide IP really is a simple and effective tool. It's quick to load, quick to connect and behaves nicely when you want to restore your original settings. I have not encountered a single snag using this app. I have already recommended it to many, something I don't often do.
This new version is a dream, works with ALL the browsers as it doesnt need plugins any more and not only that it can now be configured to allow any other application you have on your computer to use Easy-Hide-IP. There is nothing else out there that come near it, the best on the market.
