I ran an Ad Aware scan and it found a trojan in my computer. The trojan was from Easy-Hide-IP. Ad Aware considered it dangerous and removed the trojan and removed Easy-Hide-IP. I emailed them, they gave me a ticket # and said they'd look into it.
Summary
I liked the product. I don't like that it placed a trojan in my computer. I don't like how the company is handling it. Their email said "it is being reviewed by our staff". No apology, no refund, no nothing.
As for the product, it was easy to install and easy to use, even for a technotard like me. There were a couple of times when I could not connect to an alternate ip or even connect to Easy-Hide_IP's main site.
If it wasn't for the trojan issue, I would rate this product 4 stars. -

At least the creator of the product uses it himself, even if it is just for masking his 50+ positive reviews of his own program... Seriously, if a company is this dishonest with its "reviews" are you going to trust them with your credit-card info?
Cons
In less than 2 weeks there were 50+ positive reviews for this product (most written in a 3 day period), all in broken English, and in the month following only 5 new reviews? At least we know the IP hiding works for scamming the CNet review system...
Summary
I hope that someone from CNet realizes what has happened to this product and permanently bans it and all of its creators other products from the site. This sort of manipulation completely undermines the trust that users place in the reviews and should not go unpunished.

i have been trying to find a simple software to change ip, and this software does the trick, and rather does it neatly. no hassles, plenty of serves to choose from. private servers provided are much faster than the public ones. if you are trying to find an ip changer, this is the one.
