Easy Graphics File Converter is used to convert files from GIF, BMP, JPEG and PNG formats to PNG, JPEG and BMP. It has two modes of operation: a single file can be converted to all other formats (except GIF) in one operation, and JPEGs can be output over a range of quality (compression) values so as to optimize file size. In batch mode any number of files in a folder can be converted from one format to another (except GIF). Converted files can be displayed automatically in the default browser.

True to its name, this program is a no-frills, easy-to-use image converter that while offering plenty of file formats, forgets some of the more important. Easy Graphics File Converter is a quick download, and launches automatically on your desktop once it's through. A plain yet clear interface stacks action buttons on the left, making the conversion process a simple series of button-clicks. Yet while the program can convert from the GIF file format to others, such as BMP, JPEG, and PNG, it cannot convert those files into GIF. Easy Graphics File Converter also will convert images in batch mode, allowing you to choose the input and output folder by just clicking one button. There are no customization features, which may disappoint users looking for more flexibility. The trial period is stingy in comparison to other programs on the market. Overall, for people with very basic file-conversion needs, this program is adequate--yet it may fall short for more advanced users.
