Easy CD-DA Extractor's user interface is all business, starting right under the title bar with tabs for its three top tools: Audio CD Ripper, Audio Converter, and Disc Burner. We started with the ripper, which let us choose our DVD drive or virtual drive as a source. We inserted a CD, and Easy CD-DA Extractor quickly scanned it and fetched its title, artist, song list, and cover art online. We simply selected any or all of the tunes in the main list view, selected our output options, and pressed Rip CD. We chose FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) for compatibility with our MP3 library. Easy CD-DA Extractor offers variable compression levels and 24-bit Digital Signal Processing with fade-in and fade-out options. A 38-minute CD took just a couple of minutes to rip on default settings. The Audio Converter and Disc Burner both have drag-and-drop interfaces and fast operation.
We liked Easy CD-DA Extractor a lot, and most users seem to agree. The fully functional download of Easy CD-DA Extractor is free to try for 30 days, though it shows a nag screen on startup. Users are under no obligation (beyond doing the right thing) to buy the software when the trial ends, though licensing removes the nag screen.

Summary
EZ CD is the best software investment I ever made. Fast, flexible and a joy to use. Recently used it to rip about 250 cds in my collection. Works with out a hitch and makes high quality mp3s. Highly Recommended - Love the Lifetime upgrades!!

This program is great at audio conversion. I allows me to switch between format quite easily, which is what I originally bought it for.
Cons
Ripping is another story. I offers me a great many options when it comes to ripping which is great. Not only can I choose my format, but the level of rip-speed and disc scanning. But there are problems, I'm had numerous meta-data miscues, with albums being mis-identified etc... Also, I must admit it's probably due to my own igonorance but This ripper, unlike Windows Media Player, does not (or at least I've not learned how to make it) rip CD's as albums but individual files and it doesn't collect track data or display it as I'm used with WMP. After trying a few albums I went back to using WMP to rip with. Try as I might the instructions with this program are from hunger as well. Not enough detail.. period.
Summary
I don't know if you can do better, but you certainly can do worse. If you've a problem though don't expect much from their manual or email answers from their tech support.

Well presented and easy to use. Fast conversion between different audio file formats with loads of settings although you don't need to use them if you're a novice like me.

Summary
I had tried a couple of other audio file converters before this program. One 'Free' program turned out to be free for a limited period and the other only allowed the user to convert five or so files at a time and was very slow. This program is completely free, allows large files to be converted (Such as in classical music), and the conversion process is very quick. There seem to be loads of options to tweak the settings but if you're a novice, like me, the program defaults seem to work just fine.It even has a CD ripper and a CD burner built in. I'm sticking with this and genuinely recommend it to all users.

To me, this is the best all-in-one music handling software. It does just about everything you need, and does it very well. I like it because I only need to have one program.

None that I've encountered despite using it for two years.

Quickly converts all my audio files. CD Ripper is excellent, just insert CD and it gets all CD info for you and rip to the preferred format. As a bonus, it also includes very neat disc burner.

Most of the stuff it does (ripping CDs etc) you can find programs that do it for FREE so don't see the advantage of paying for this one.
