For ripping audio CDs, burning CDs and DVDs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels. The latest update to version 11 adds some notable new features, such as the ability to manage all of the metadata for songs or albums, including downloadable album covers. Also quite valuable is the new DVD-burning functionality, an excellent tool for backing up large digital-music collections.
A well-organized interface displays all of the major features and settings. Four tabs across the top access the Audio CD Ripper, the Audio File Format Converter, Audio CD Creator, and MP3/WMA CD Creator. Ripping CDs is simple: Insert a disc and the Audio CD Ripper window displays info such as artist, track list, year, track length, and album length. The destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format are all easily edited.
MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. The Audio File Format Converter window features a drag-and-drop file selection topped by a conversion-format window. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, OGG, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed, and toggle the test feature. The MP3/WMA CD Creator window works similarly and adds much-needed support for data discs.
Easy CD-DA Extractor is easy to learn, quick to use, and loaded with features. It stands tall among the teeming mass of CD-ripping/music-conversion apps.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 11.5.2
Pros: FAST !! I mean SUPER Fast when ripping a CD.
Easy to name your files.
Easy to manage where your files are going to.
Cons: The only problem I had with this software, was something had happened when I was ripping a music CD. I don't have any idea what the problem was, but this program froze my computer and I had to reboot.
I'm not too happy about that.

Pros: The tool itself is extremely useful; feature rich and an awesome set of 'they just work' up to date codecs.
I keep trying out the free rippers since there free, but I keep coming back to this one. This one supports more codecs and is 'easier' to use than the free one's out there. This is by far the best ripper and converter out there. The best things out there isn't free.
Even though it's not free you do get free unlimited updates. So when a new version comes out you can get it for free.
Couldn't ask for better than this. Excellent at what it does which it does with flexibility and style.
An excellent investment for a program that continues to grow with quality and not useless bloat.

"Very easy to use and does and excellent job! Best I have tried out of many!"
Pros: Very intuitive interface... and easy to configure the advanced functions on ripping and converting music files. I usually rip into a lossless format, and then also into VBR 256 for listening via wireless on my stereo, and also a VBR 128 for my notebook when I travel. This program makes it easy to do the various formats, and allows file naming and ID3 tag setups that rock!

"This is the one of the best rippers and burning programs"
Pros: have had this program for over 5 years and it still does everything I want. Much better than Nero at a fraction of the price. Its a speed demon in rip mode and no slouch in burn mode.
Cons: Most soft ware tries to do too much. Not this one. I don't have one problem with it.
