For ripping audio CDs, burning discs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels.
The pleasant interface allows you to configure the well-organized software to suit your needs. We like the slider in the conversion-progress box that lets you set the applications system priority. After you insert a CD, the Audio CD Ripper window displays information such as artist name, track list, production year, track length, and length of the total album. The destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format are all adjustable.
MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. The Audio File Format Converter window features a drag-and-drop file selection topped by a conversion-format window. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, OGG, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed and toggle the test feature. The new MP3/WMA CD Creator window works similarly, and adds much-needed support for data discs.
Easy CD-DA Extractor is easy to use and full of excellent features, and it should be at the top of your CD-ripping/song-converting charts.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.1
"functional and stable ripper, product of professional programming philosophy"
Pros: I'm a registered user of this software since 2001, and can say that this is the ultimate CD ripper. I'm not going to talk about formats and stuff. I'll tell you what the reviewers don't usually write about. I love the interface. We've all seen bloatware whose developers change the interface with every new version to make it look like they've made "lots of good improvements" when they've made none. The intuitive interface of Ezcddax has remained essentially the same over the last 6 years; having undergone only the necessary changes to accomodate new features. The developer has an equally professional approach when it comes to new features; he makes sure to "get it right" before launching into a new project. What I like most about this software is that the developer is working on it full time, improving it as we speak. You can always count on this software to have the latest codecs. Did you just get breaking news of this cool new codec update? Just drop him a line and it'll be included in the next version. (e.g. wavpack 4.41 update was incorporated into the new version within three weeks following notification from a customer) Which brings us to the next point: He listens to his customers. Serious bugs are fixed within days (or sometimes hours) following report. Less serious bugs may take up to a few weeks. Many (but naturally not all) feature requests are honored, provided that they fall within the scope of the software. Bottomline: Ezcddax is a first class piece of software and it's going to get better and better. Well worth the money. In fact it's the only software I've bothered to pay for.
Cons: The help file is a little superficial, but the FAQ forum on the website should help resolve many problems. Registered users can access the other two forums and ask questions there. Most of the questions are promptly answered.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.1
"Haven't used every aspect, but it seems easy, fast and does what it claims."
Pros: Excellent format converter - fast and convenient. Fairly all-inclusive music download package. Takaes a bit of playing with to figure out how to use, but one or two attempts and it's actually farily transparent. Haven't used all of its attributes, but like what I've seen so far. I might upgrade my rating after more use. I'm strongly leaning toward purchase.
Cons: Just needs a bit of practice to learn, but this is minor for computer literate users; one doesn't need to be a "nerd". No other cons so far.

"Easy to use, and fantastic customer service."
Pros: It's a gem of a product. I first tried it when it was fairly new a number of years ago. I liked the ease of the program, and all of the things that you could use it for. After giving the free version a decent testing, I decided that it was worth the price for for the full version. Heck, they even said I would never have to pay for upgrades, so what could be wrong with that? It turns out, nothing!! Since I purchased the full version, Poikosoft has released numerious fixes and upgrades. If I loose my product key, I go to their website and In a few short minutes, normally, I'll have a new one. There really is so much good to day about this product that I don't know where to start. It does everything they say, with ease, and does it well. I'm a consumer and that's what I am basing my opinion on. I have been to Poikosoft's website so many times that I almost feal like family. Just when I think that there isn't anything more they can do to improve the product, they release another upgrade. (I HAVE purchased products that were suppose to have free updates, and upgrades for life, but someone new takes over the product and then you're being sent notices that you have to pay for any upgrades). Not so with Poikosoft! They stand behind this program and just keep making it better and better. I like the product, a lot, and the customer service is the icing on the cake.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.1
Pros: This is my goto app for extracting audio, converting audio from and into every format I could ever use, and burning audio CDs. Also, it is updated regularly to add new features and/or improve existing ones. Certainly worth the price.
Cons: The interface could use some more polish. For example, changing ID3 tag info can be a bit clunky. Minor issue, though.

Pros: Converted my collection of 1,600+ audio files from one format to another smoothly and effortlessly in three hours or so (7.5 seconds per track), and with excellent results.
