For ripping audio CDs, burning discs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels.
The pleasant interface allows you to configure the well-organized software to suit your needs. We like the slider in the conversion-progress box that lets you set the applications system priority. After you insert a CD, the Audio CD Ripper window displays information such as artist name, track list, production year, track length, and length of the total album. The destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format are all adjustable.
MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. The Audio File Format Converter window features a drag-and-drop file selection topped by a conversion-format window. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, OGG, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed and toggle the test feature. The new MP3/WMA CD Creator window works similarly, and adds much-needed support for data discs.
Easy CD-DA Extractor is easy to use and full of excellent features, and it should be at the top of your CD-ripping/song-converting charts.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.0.5
Pros: I'm using this program to encode all my music to FLAC and AAC. I bought the program year and a half ago and have received all updates for free. They even added some features I wished for.
Cons: Still missing the metadata editor, but it's promised in v11 for free, as usual.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.0.5
Cons: Consumers should be aware of the deceptive tactic Poikosoft is using to sell Easy CD-DA through the TrialPay program. The web site does not explain anywhere that you will receive a different version of the program that is not upgradeable and must be downloaded from a special link. You do not become a registered user which entitles you to use the support forums. I complained to the publisher Jukka Poikolainen and to TrialPay and neither party responded to my complaints. You may also want to Google "Poikosoft complaints" before patronizing this individual. I discovered this after my own bad experience.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 10.0.5
Pros: nice interface, easy to setup the conversion process
Cons: - doesn't convert protected m4p files
- errors out on Vista64 after a only part of the files are converted. gets an access error of some sort...not completely unexpected on newly released OS
