For ripping audio CDs, burning discs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels. The interface is pleasant, and you can configure the well-organized software to suit your needs. We like the slider in the conversion-progress box that lets you give the application a higher or a lower system priority. After you insert a CD, the Audio CD Ripper window displays information such as artist name, track list, production year, length of each track, and length of the total album. The output section of that window lets you set the destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format. MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. In the Audio File Format Converter window, you drop files from your PC into the folder on the screen, then select the format into which you wish to convert the files. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed, and enable or disable the test feature. The new MP3/WMA CD Creator window works similarly, and adds much-needed support for data discs. Most users will find Easy CD-DA Extractor easy to use and full of features.Publisher's description

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 9.1
"Rips anything, even "unrippable" music CDs"
Pros: Simple but powerful. It's never failed to rip a music CD, even ones with "protection" that other rippers can't touch. The FreeBSD feature is handy too. It looks up the CD online so you don't have to type the name of every song. If you regularly rip music from CDs onto your PC, it's well worth the price. I do it to listen to music on my PC or on my MP3 player at the gym, and it's never been easier since I got this tool.
Cons: None. This is the best ripper/burner gizmo I've ever seen.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 9.1
"I find this to be a very good ripper."
Pros: It does a realy good job of ripping to any format. Plenty of options, highly configurable. Quality of output is great and it's easy to use.
Cons: For my own music collection I also like to tag the year along with the album folder (in output file names) as I do with Cdex v 1.60.(and it's free) In Easy CD-DA Extractor 9.1 I can't find that option.
I believe Cdex v 1.6 wins overall (Price and options).
