For ripping audio CDs, burning discs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels. The interface is pleasant, and you can configure the well-organized software to suit your needs. We liked the slider in the conversion-progress box that lets you give the application higher or lower system priority. After you insert a CD, the Audio CD Ripper window displays information such as artist name, tracklist, production year, length of each track, and length of the total album. The output section of that window lets you set the destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format. MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. In the Audio File Format Converter window, you drop files from your PC into the folder on the screen, then select the format into which you wish to convert the files. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, Ogg Vorbis, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed, and enable or disable the test feature. Most users will find Easy CD-DA Extractor easy to use and full of features.Publisher's description

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 9 build 1
"The best cd ripper on the market."
Pros: As i became a user a long time ago, everytime poiko was able to add some new interesting features in his program.
For me there is no alternative to easy cd-da extractor. And now the version
9.0 came out with some new codecs integrated (AAC, aacPlus v1, and aacPlus
v2) and support for 3GPP (.3gp) and 3GPP2 (.3g2) as well. Thanks a lot for this great software and keep going on poiko.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 9 build 1
Pros: This software provides 3 main functions: (1) Ripping, (2) Audio format conversion, and (3) CD burning. It's very easy to use, but quite flexible and easily configurable for very high quality results. I've used a number of rippers/burners over the years, the most recent being Adobe Audition 1.5 (f.k.a. CoolEdit Pro), which I still use for more complex audio editing jobs. However, for everyday ripping/burning, I've switched to Easy CD-DA. The kicker (for me) -- I had configured a macro routine in Adobe Audition that automatically "normalized" a ripped audio file and deleted then added specific silence lengths at the beginning and end of the file. I couldn't believe those options were built-in to Easy CD-DA and so easy to use.
Cons: For the price -- absolutely none. I do have one very minor "quibble" (or maybe it's a feature request) -- I would like to see the ability to add silences (not just delete them) be part of the Format Converter options (now, it's only available under the Ripper options).

"The Best Software Purchase I Have Made"
Pros: This has to be the best ripper/encoder i have come across, the updates are free for lifetime and the quality of the files are excellent. The range of fiels that can be converted has to be the best on the market, I cant recommend it enough!
Cons: Nothing at all!
