From Poikosoft :Easy CD-DA Extractor rips audio CDs and allows you to convert files from one format to another, burn audio CDs, copy copy-protected CDs, read audio from badly scratched CDs, download and upload disc information to and from FreeDB, and get support for volume normalization, compression, and fade-in and fade-out functionality. The program supports formats such as MP3, MP4, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG Vorbis, Musepack, Monkey's Audio, and Windows Media Audio. Version 8.1.4 updates French, German, Spanish, and Italian versions and has minor bugfixes.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 8.1.4
"HQ Audio Encoder & Customer Service."
Pros: It rips & encodes to MOST of todays most popular & standard formats played on CDs or portable players. It has access to the Public Database so as long as you're connected to the net it'll get CD, Artist & Track info (pretty common today) but it also supports really scratched disks & cutting silence from songs. One of my favorite things are context menus! If you're like me & you cannot stand Windows Explorer you'll love that it works with other File Managers. It has the ability to rip in whatever naming format you want & it's NOT Bloat Ware like so many Windows software (& Windows itself), it's PACKED with so many features AND it supports FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Compression) so you lose NO Quality!
I've tried EAC but it wasn't for me...THIS IS A MUST!
Cons: The User Interface (UI) has changed since 8.0.x, & but cool.

"A Fantistic Program For The Price"
Pros: I have purchased this program and have been using it for some time. It does almost everything you would want to do as far as ripping encoding and converting audio files. For it's small registration fee it is a real bargain.

Version: Easy CD-DA Extractor 8.1.4
"Five releases later it is still the best"
Pros: I've been using this since version 3 and it gets better with each release. Fast ripping and encoding, easy to use interface. It is ideal for audiophiles (FLAC is a great addition) or for audio-newbies. Super easy to use and feature rich. The developer tirelessly works on improving this program and has been responsive to feedback.
The audio format conversion feature is phenomenal.
I have not used the CD burning feature, so I cannot comment on that.
Free lifetime upgrades....I think I spent $20 on this 5 years ago. An unbelievable value!
Cons: It's hard to fault this program. Any bugs from version 7 have been resolved as far as I can see.

Pros: This is ultimately THE application for ripping & burning CD's, and converting audio file formats.
Cons: Well, not free, but still worth the small registration fee.

Pros: I've been using this product for several years. It's easy to use and it works great. It can make high-quality recordings in many formats and has several useful options (fade, track cutting, etc.).
