  "Excellent tool for building and maintaining web sites"

  Pros

  Includes many web features such as an online store and blog all integrated into a very easy to use interface.
  Huge amounts of control and configuration.
  Excellent help guide and online support forum

  Cons

  Some of the template designs are looking a little dated.
  The grammer in some parts of the help text isn't perfect and has probably been written by someone who speaks English as a second language. Its still very understandable.

  Summary

  After 5 years of coding my web site by hand in ACE HTML Pro I decided I wanted to bring it up to date with features such as a blog and a restricted members area. I also wanted a tool that made it really easy to maintain as I didn't want to spend lots of time updating it when I could be getting on with my real business.
  
  I tried out 11 seperate tools ranging from free to quite expensive. This was by far the easiest to use, included all my desired features and a few more I hadn't thought of. Within 8 hours of starting to use the package I had my new site uploaded and working well. Over the next couple of months I fine tuned the site adding more and more content. The updates are a breeze and I now use the software to manage multiple sites I have developed.
  
  What has come as a pleasent suprise is that many advanced features and customisation have been included but are hidden from you unless you look from them. This is an increadibly powerful package but easy to use. Build your site then read the help guide to find out how much more you can add.
  
  Excellent software.

  "very poor help system , useless tutorials, confusing"

  powerful, lifetime free updates, many controllable parameters.

  Cons

  rotten, and I mean rotten help, unintuitive, useless video tutorials, for amateurs only, severely limited, impedes workflow, not recommended

  Summary

  I like the potential of the product, but not the realization. Perhaps future versions will address the many shortcomings. Great for simple page layout, many controllable options, but latest 3.0... not useful for professional development. For simple sites with little php processing can be considered adequate. For myself, other than grabbing source code for css layout, not recommended

  "Basic site in 10 minutes but PHP plugs in a problem"

  Pros

  I had a basic site up and going in 10 minutes with
  Picture plug-ins and nice templates.

  Cons

  Exgenerator runs on Windows and Unix servers if you want the extra features
  MUST have a Unix site with PHP and MySQL
  Some of the coding requires allow_url_fopen function that is no longer available with many ISP.

  Summary

  Forum with feedback in 12 hours was good & I got my $129 worth of value, but disappointed RSS feed no go.

  "BEST that I've Found out of about 20 products!"

  Pros

  Very professional looking interface. Many many templates. Created professional looking website very quickly. Includes Google XML Sitemap settings. Integrated easy catalog item generator.

  Cons

  You must purchase the full version to create a usable site. Trial limitations add watermarks, a footer advertising their product, and it changes every letter "A" to the letter "E" in every page. The price is a bit high for me as well, but worth it.

  Summary

  I've downloaded about 20 (actually, probably a bit more) of Flash type website creators and this is the one and only that is anywhere near professional. This is by far the best program on the net that I have found. With so many templates to choose from, you will no doubt find many that you will want to use. It has dynamic buttons that will light up when you hover your mouse over them. It incorporates expandable and collapsible items that I think are very professional looking and acting.

  SEO friendly,XML Sitemap, Lots of templates,Flash tools,Ability to create your own templates, Simple to use,Good for both beginners and pro's. Code support, Many plug ins, FTP client, Awesome image generator tool. simply the best website creator.

  Cons

  almost no cons, except a little problem with the non alphabetical characters when using RTL languages. (Although not so important problem ... It's still can handle RTL languages based websites.)

  Summary

  While other HTML editors give you an easy interface and average sites. This program gives you the easiest interface, and the best software generated website. It's got almost everything, the program are SEO friendly. Every page can be manage to fit google index (from the alt tags on images until the frequently update page - for google spider.) It's got a blog section who can be translated to every language (including RTL language, but it's 90 % good translating) It's has mass of features, for the beginners and for the advanced. There is also a flash based template. And for those who don't like the designed templates, It's also got a feature to design your own templates. It's even generating automatically the xml sitemap. Infact this software doing everything you'll need for a good website, it's even got an online shop feature! and even online catalog interface built with PHP.
  How can I forget the flash players!, This software got the best flash players to play Mp3 & FLV (like youtube... etc...) over 40 skins, and in fact it's also got a mass media player called advanced audio/video player for those who need mass of media files to their site. This software even got an FTP client to upload directly your site to your hosting plan (So you won't be needed to use FTP client to upload your site to the air). The software got unbelievable forum support. One of the good features over EZ generator is the "insert image" window. It's give you the ability to add images and edit them, make a slide show in flash, or even in JavaScript, add an outline to the images, add a shadow, make an code event, use alt tag, create photo title, create an roll over image effect, inserting images over 9 different plugins, and design each one for the perfect results. It's got emageview flash photo player, who is an incredible flash player. Every site built with EZgenerator got an online PHP admin page; you can view the traffic, Manage users, Count how much the page visited and much more...
  
  Another great, and probably the best profit for this software is the incredible tech support (Thanks to the pro's and the software developers, Galina, Miro and others - by the way thanks for the support.) Just go by yourself into the support forum and check it out http://forum.image-line.com. it's the best tech support I had ever seen over a web based software.
  This is no doubt the best WYSIWYG HTML editor. Look about this site www.flstudio.com (it's built with EZ generator)
  In rating 1 to 10 it's get no doubt 9.5
  The expression "so simple so powerful" No doubt had directed to this software. Good job to you image-line. Probably the best all in one website creator. No doubt worth every single cent.

  "Needs more work - not yet ready for prime time!"

  Pros

  With EZGenerator (EZG) I can create websites containing complex features such as blogs, shops, slide shows with ease. There's no need for HTML knowledge, or PHP programming. Large number of templates are available. Good forum-based support.

  Cons

  Templates aren't always well written and can cause problems with the appearance of the site. Some templates cannot accommodate longer words in their menus. Some bad translation of words or phrases in the templates.

  Summary

  EZGenerator allows for easy and low-cost web design using a template driven, hands-off approach to HTML and PHP Programming. Many elements within the over 3000 templates available can be edited and customized. Besides the templates there are also pre-configured pages, such as blogs, shops, contact / feedback pages and slide shows. These, too can be customized to some degree. It?s theoretically possible to build an entire multilevel website including a fully functioning online store without having to look at or adjust coding.
  
  While the templates may offer a wide range of choices for the budding and professional designer, they are not always attractive or functional. In one case the ?Search Box? supplied with the template is low at the bottom of the page, even though it?s best located towards the top. In another case, the templates cannot accommodate larger words or phrases in the menus. Overly large graphics (900 in width and 225 in height) in some templates take to much space for content. The software has evidently been written in another language than English, because there are some errors in translation.
  
  Free support is provided through a community forum which is also (apparently) manned by programmers and technicians involved with EZGenerator.
  
  My suggestion:
  
  EZGenerator is good enough for the odd private or small business website, but not recommended as a platform for web design services. It?s price of just under US $ 100 is very affordable.
