While EXPStudio Audio Editor Free doesn't offer a tenth of the features of a full-fledged audio package, it's a snap to learn and it is indeed absolutely free.
We like how the program window conveniently arranges the controls. Under the hood, you'll find support for most popular audio formats, as well as a recorder, cut/paste tools, essential effects (fade-in/out, reverb, changing tempo, and pitch), and filters (low-pass and high-pass). The Marker tool lets you store any number of selected audio fragments. However, you can't mark a time point, only a fragment. The program can only save audio as uncompressed WAVs or MP2s.
Unfortunately, you can only work with one file at a time. On balance, then, EXPStudio Audio Editor Free seems best suited to home users with quick and dirty music-editing needs.

"Don't trust people who gave negative reviews."
Pros: Don't trust people who gave negative reviews. They're just jealous publishers. The software is 100% free (unlimited saves) and can export audio files into wave and mp2. (what do you ask more for a free software?). Why did that louis0118 guy say the software is $50 and 10 saves limit? where did you get that price? and info?
Cons: free

"Many facilities for free program"
Pros: This program gives many options and capabilities, easy to use, and you can depend on it if you have a serious job.
Recommended for beginners and people who have simple work.
Cons: Very bad for people who wants to check their work in every process they make, because it takes a very long time to make a simple process even with high performance computers, Some missing options in interface design, not recommended at all for professional use because of many missing functions.
For the professional version of this program with price $29.95 not worthy to buy I say if you want to buy an audio editor look for something else.

"It is NOT Free ... almost no functionality without purchase"
Pros: The software is smooth, fast, intuitive and worthy of a good review
Cons: Unfortunately I can't give it one because the company LIES in its statement that the software is free. It only allows 10 saves before you must upgrade to the "Pro" version which costs $50. If they hadn't lied, I would have been willing to spend the money. Now, I will look elsewhere. Come on, guys, call it shareware if you want, but avoid the word FREE.
