EVX_SHELL is a 4D plug-in that allows 4D running on Mac OS X to execute UNIX commands and scripts. EVX_SHELL provides 'root' level command execution and returns standard output data to a text or blob variable.

EVX_SHELL enables you to reach an inexhaustible source of commands and UNIX scripts allowing you, from your a4D apps, to control their environment.
