Surfing the Web today without protection against spyware and other pests is like stepping into a downpour without an umbrella. Unfortunately, this particular shield is more like a holey umbrella, and isn't really useful. Like many other programs, it scans files, start-up entries, and the Registry for signs of known malicious software or "malware." It also looks for P2P applications, a particularly helpful feature on shared computers. However, in our tests, it missed several pieces of adware that are rated as severe threats, and it did not even delete the malware it did find. Moreover, the interface may be too complicated for many users. Given the wide variety of free tools available online, we'd advise most computer users to look elsewhere.

Cons: highjacks your browser in order to take you to their homepage. Useless as spyware detector, actually, does not find anything at all.

"Great As a Second or Third Line of Defense"
Pros: The scan is extremely fast. Very useful as a backup antispyware. It says that it has only 10,000 spyware in it's database, but in fact there is actually about 100,000.
Cons: No real-time, not many updates and no heuristics. This is why I recommend it as a backup.

Pros: quick scan
Cons: the scan is way too fast to be effective and once it identifies a threat the removal process is terrible. i scanned multiple times and it could not delete the trojan (i think i had vundo or something). crap product.

Pros: simple design; fast and good finds
Cons: not enough features
Summary: This product is not at the top but still it has some good qualities, that, if combined with other similar products, would lead to approximately medium level of clean-up of your PC if and when needed.
