Duplicate files are usually wasteful and unnecessary, so keeping them is merely a waste of valuable hard disk space. Your hard drives may be full of documents, MP3s, photos, and video, and many of them are redundant. Duplicate Finder, is designed to find and delete true duplicate files over your home and corporate network with no software installed on your other computer. Fast byte-to-byte and CRC32 comparison gives you the most accurate results and Duplicate Finder searches duplicate file contents regardless of filename. A list of duplicate files can be sorted, exported, and acted upon. A search session including results can be saved. Duplicate files can be deleted, moved, or copied. Regain valuable disk space and improve data quality. Version 2.8 adds Fuzzy Logic.
Note: Trial version can delete only 50 files at one time.

Version: Duplicate Finder 2.8
Pros: I have been using duplicate finder v2.0 and then v2.5 for over years now and have had no problems with either version! I run Duplicate Finder program a minimum of five times a day with all types of files, and with folders that have as many as 200,000 files to be compared for duplication! I also run a weekly check on a 75 GB stored database to ensure there are no copies duplicated.
Duplicate finder has proven itself to be a real workhorse for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Duplicate Finder to anyone who wants to tackle their duplicate files

"Duplicate Finder Works Great!"
Pros: I'm finding Duplicate Finder a very useful tool, seems to work very efficiently and has certainly highlighted a considerable number of duplicate on my system.

Pros: The file is really small and easy to handle and install. Could be good if you are working with limited space.
Cons: This is just one horrible software that just is not what you want to try if you are in a bad mood(if you are searching for file duplicates I assume you are in a bad mood!). The damn thing takes too long and it takes up too much of your precious resources so in the end you are stuck waiting for absolutely nothing because it sometimes hangs up your system. I want the last 20 minutes of my life back....
