ParetoLogic DriverCure is sophisticated software that will take care all of all your device driver needs. Drivers are important, often overlooked parts of your computer. They act as translators, relaying crucial information between the hardware devices, software and operating system. Without the right drivers, some of your software and hardware devices, such as your printer, scanner, sound card and display will not work at all or to their full capacity. There are times when having the wrong driver or one that was poorly written can cause your PC to freeze, lockup or crash. Locating the right device drivers yourself can be a long and frustrating process. Drivers are often on the discs that come with your computer or hardware devices. However, those dicks are easily misplaced. As well, they will not contain the most up-to-date drivers or possibly the necessary drivers for the latest operating system. Summary
Recently while working on a customer's computer I found this application running at startup. I disabled it through msconfig. In doing so,internet connection was dropped. Upon re-enabling it, the internet connection was fine. I tested it again and got the same result. Don't download.

Suggested by a game company. Supposedly fixed the first problem, but failed every time after that one.
After the first fix worked I bought it. They added a recurring payment to PayPal acct. without my consent. Probably consent buried in agreement.Summary

Bright, colorful, exciting to look at. Like shaking a set of keys for a baby...
Cons
About as useful as a set of keys for a baby. Downloaded and installed fast. Took about 30 seconds to realize it was crap. Uninstalled in about 30 seconds. Total time: about 3 minutes. STILL too much of a waste of time.

Constructive criticism: The "scan" ran quickly and apparently showed everything to be OK, even though I know I have at least 3 driver incompatibility issues with windows 7. The scan may not have completed properly however, because it kept ending by saying "Please check your connection to the Internet, and run the scan again". Might throw some people off, but being a Sys Admin I checked the program's proxy settings, tried each of our web proxies, and tried the program's self-update feature - which must connect to the Internet - and it ran correctly. We don't block outbound traffic, so obviously the program is flawed on a number of levels.

unwanted ads, downloaded wrong driver so my speakers don't work, mis-detected bad driver, they claim 30-day satisfaction gurantee but i can't get them to refund my money. in short; a scam. Also sold under the name DriverWhiz...watch out.

"Driver Cure by Pareto Logic won't uninstall!"

I can't remember if it found the driver I needed a year ago but after trying to unistall Driver Cure I still get messages on my screen all day long saying Partologic can't find Driver Cure.
Cons
There must be a better way to find drivers! They don't respond to requests for support. To this day I use MSConfig to keep the Driver Cure service from starting every time I boot because it won't uninstall. Too bad there is no law on the internet!

This program helped me update a few drivers and I was also finally able to program my extra mouse buttons thanks to the drivers it downloaded. It will also help you download some software updates for certain programs. I found it helpful.

Summary
Sneaky sign-up procedure diverts you into "buy before you try" Scan results don't let you compare old vs new driver file information before you install the "new" ones. System has been significantly slower since I installed their product. AVOID this program.
