A flexible interface makes DreamCalc almost as good for doing the bills as for doing your calculus homework. Under the default Scientific interface, DreamCalc Standard imitates a graphing calculator bristling with functions. Besides the graphing console, it offers multiple statistical modes, base-n calculations, and the ability to enter equations in modern, classic, and Reverse Polish notation.
It knows more physical constants than a chemistry textbook, and can easily convert units of area, energy and power, force and pressure, length, mass, speed, temperature, and volume. It even provides a polynomial solver for cheating on your math homework. The aptly named Simple interface turns DreamCalc into a basic desktop calculator for everyday use.
Although the interface's design won't blow any minds, we do appreciate the inclusion of skins for changing the color scheme. We recommend DreamCalc for engineers and other math fiends who also need a replacement for the Windows calculator.
