This unique browser lets you watch your favorite videos while you work. With such a superb performance and intuitive user interface, it's hard to believe that it's free.
When you first install Double Vision, it requires that you read a very brief tutorial. There, you'll learn how to navigate the browser, and use the available shortcuts to hide and adjust the video display's transparency. Basically, all you have to do is use the program's search engine to find your favorite video site. Once you've found a video, click the Go button on the user interface, and the video instantly becomes transparent and positions itself behind whatever you're working on at the moment. Aside from using the hot keys, a slide bar on the video display window lets you adjust the transparency. You can also adjust the screen size. Regardless of whether you are working on a text document or browsing the Web, the video plays in the background while you go about your business. Of note, if you use the hot-key combo to hide the video, the sound does not go away, only the video.
Along with the tutorial, the program also offers help in the form of FAQs. Double Vision is extremely easy to use and is a great tool for letting you watch videos without skipping a beat.

With Double Vision, you can watch online videos without impacting available space on your computer monitor and without interfering with programs already running. Double Vision is a regular web browser intended for watching online (and local) videos. After beginning to watch a video you can enter "Double Vision Mode". At that point, the browser becomes semi-transparent (you select the transparency) and the browser is "click-through" which means that you can still interact with programs running underneath.
What's new in this version: Version 3.0 adds "Snap It" feature to automatically scroll and resize browser to fit videos on screen; custom home page; custom skins; keyboard shortcuts; system tray icon; search bar; page history.

Pros
Looked nice. I wanted it to work, but too many problems after installation.
Cons
After installing Double Vision 3.0 my computer went nuts. It changed my home home page ( without asking) and changed my LAN connection (again without asking) .
Also nagged about upgrading to the Pro version.Summary
Looked promising,but too many surprise after start-up.

Excellent browser for watching vids while doing work. I use it extensively when doing spreadsheets for my business and it's nice to be able to get work done while enjoying myself.

Pros
It's great for watching Olympic coverage or March Madness while at work. Fairly intuitive and straight-forward, simple to use/understand.
Cons
It has hung up and crashed on me a couple of times, but that could be my computer or other software/resource conflicts.
Summary
This is a great piece of software for all the office workers who want to keep up with any live, streaming events that happen while you're at work. I personally have used it to watch March Madness and Olympic hockey while at work. It's very convenient to be able to click/see through the player so I can work uninterrupted and still keep up with the big game. Great piece of software!
