From NativeWinds :Docx2Rtf is a freeware file converter for MS Word 2007 and OpenOffice Sxw and Odt files. Docx2Rtf does not require Office 2007 or OpenOffice installed in order to work. Word 2007 docx files and OpenOffice files will be converted with formatting, but no images. Version 2.4 includes unspecified updates.

Pros: I spent hours looking and downloading converters for a file and none of them worked. At a last resort, I tried this one and I was surprised that the file did convert.
Cons: None.

"It works easy and fast, no Installyation issues."
Pros: This is simple and good. Converted text with font, bold and italic. It's free and works better than many other that charge.

"Tiny program; easy to install & use; also converts docs to PDF!"
Pros: Fast, easy download, install & use; straightforward user-interface; includes readme documentation; doesn't require any other supporting software; Bonus is that it also converts a docx or rtf file to a pdf file! I downloaded & installed the converter, opened a docx file, converted and saved it to rtf and pdf... all in less than 10 minutes. Love it!
Cons: Its great. Just a small, simple utility for converting docx files, without a bunch of memory-draining, non-necessary stuff!
