My DocFetcher Review... (Negative Stars for this Dud!)
Omen No. 1: The developer's website to download this program from (sourceforge.net) had no further information about it. No install instructions, nothing about the program's usage, etc. I should have known better; but unfortunately I uninstalled anyway. :(
Omen No. 2: DocFetcher suddenly stalled my computer during the initial installation process and I consequently couldn't use either the mouse, keyboard shortcuts etc. for about two minutes. After that a popup stated something like "Installation Complete. Restart the Computer."
Omen No. 3: Upon restarting the computer the dreaded Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Appeared. When I restarted the computer again - this time in safe mode - the DocFetcher was indeed installed in the Program Files folder all right; however clicking on the program application proved fruitless.
I then used the shareware program called Your Uninstaller! 2008 in order to uninstall DocFetcher; which consequently left tons of leftover junk files in the Windows registry. I subsequently removed the registry junk files using the CCleaner freeware program registry cleaning function.
I Repeat: Don't Bother Installing This DocFetcher Dud!
