From Doc-U-Chart :New! Version 3.00! The Doc-U-ScripTM Version 3.00 is a software program for all versions of the PocketPC, including Pocket PC 2004 and Windows Mobile 2003. The program creates prescriptions, work and school releases, and lab reports to patients, drug lists, problem lists, and drug interaction reports. The Medical Letter Drug Interaction database screens your prescriptions or the patient's medication list for known drug interactions. The prescription writing feature of Doc-U-Scrip draws upon a database of over 1300 branded and generic drugs to enable you to quickly and effortlessly generate crisp and precise paper prescriptions, complete with your digital signature, or ready to sign. Multiple prescription formats are supported. Your prescriptions can now be faxed directly from your device over the internet! Pharmacy call backs and reading errors can be a thing of the past! The Patient Database of the Doc-U-Scrip was designed to require the minimum amount of information in order to keep data entry simple and rapid. You can keep up to 240 of your favorite or most frequent prescriptions at your fingertips, in alphabetical order, for both adult and pediatric formularies. In addition, any prescriptions previously written for a patient will be displayed and available for re-entry, which makes refills a snap. The drug search feature allows the user to search the database and produce a list of patients using any drug. This means that the next time a drug is recalled, you can print a list of all patients for whom the drug was prescribed. Version 3.0 also includes the popular preventive care tracking feature. For each patient, annual physicals, immunizations, colon exams, PSA's and many other items can be tracked and patients recalled when follow up is due. In half a minute, have report in hand itemizing all patients past due for a colonoscopy, Well Woman Exam, diabetic eye exam, or a myriad of preventive care evaluations. The letter writing feature includes hundreds of boiler plate texts for lab report letters, which means you may never have to sit down and scrawl out terse, incomplete letters to your patients again. You will easily create detailed and informative letters to your patients. The program automatically generates a second copy of letters, annotated for filing in the chart! This new version allows for backup of all vital files to any backup media found on your device whenever exiting the program. Annual licensing and biennial updating (soon to be quarterly updates) of The Medical Letter database costs only $25 per year, and the first year is included in your initial software purchase. The Doc-U-ScripTM Prescription Writing Program Version 3.0 software runs on all ARM or ARMV4 Windows CE powered PocketPC devices. The program runs on the Compaq iPAQ devices , Jornada and Toshiba devices, the Dell Axim, or other PocketPC devices running Windows CE 2.11 or higher. Users of prior Versions of Doc-U-Scrip should read the 'ReadMe_Scrip' file included with the Version 3.0 download carefully. Always perform a full backup of your device before installing any new software.
