From AMB Software :Directory printer, find duplicate files, rename files amd maintain your files all in 1 tool. You can print the directory tree of an entire disk or a single directory. Print DLL and EXE version information, and print AVI, MP3, MSI, and WAV properties. It is used to rename multiple files, rename files in sequence, and rename files based on MP3 tags, It finds duplicate files and directories based on name, size and/or CRC. The duplicate file search is multi-threaded to be super fast. It is used to maintain files. Find the largest files and directories. Report on file usage by user. All features can print to a printer, text file, Excel file, HTML file. Version 24.2 used less memory so the program is much faster.

"Easy to use and loaded with features"
Pros: I tried many programs and this one is the easiest one to use. I was able to get the program running very quickly. The features are well thought out and have saved me loads of time in managing my files

"Ok. What's the difference between "identical files" and "duplicate files"?"
Pros: Pretty fast
Cons: Awful graphics.
Not too clear about functions.
What's the difference between "identical files" and "duplicate files"? It doesn't say.
There's no way of comparing more than two directories at once.

"Have used other file/directory comaprisons for years, this one is the BEST"
Cons: My don't like is the assumption that everyuser has an internet SP. I was given the download copy, was instantly captivated by it, but could not purchase. I am not connected to the internet. Accessing the internet through a friends' PC, (who, incidentally would not allow me to run the download on his computer)I found that I could not purchase it through any of the usual shareware companies. A big big WHY????????????

"Great Help with The mess Bigger Hard Drives Seem to result in."
Pros: All of a sudden I did not have enough space to defrag my 80 GB drive! Like so many others I just downloaded and never paid much attention to the clean up after testing programs. I trusted that Uninstaller was efficient. That plus my pack rat mentality caused the problems I was running up against..
I needed something that would display directory size up front. Something that was intuitive and something that I could trust.
After trying many products I came to Directory Report. And the search ended. Professional looking, easy to understand and use - it was all I asked for..
BUT it was more. After the rudimentary hand cleaning I decided for the heck of it to check for duplicates. Boy was I in for a surprise!!
In the end and after a short time I had reduced the used part of my drive by 16.6 GB!!
Defrag worked fine...
Cons: I have worked in computer programming since the mid seventies, and this is the first product that did what it said and did it well. I have no complaints!

Pros: I can now print directories without having to print my whole computer. I can do inventory now without alot of trouble. This is a wonderful program
