Pros: Nice looking interface and thats all I can say.
Cons: Doesn't work as it suppose to. Didn't get any sound from playing DVD.
Summary: Using this product on Vista. I don't think it was ready for release. Numerous "Program stopped working errors, division by zero errors (haven't had then since win95), virtually no support.

Pros: This program is simply astonishing! Tons of audio tweaks available. This app puts powerDVD ultra to shame. Yes, its even better then Nero Showtime & WinDVD by Corel...this app is unlike any DVD player you have tried.
Cons: No BD support like: powerDVD ultra/Nero Showtime
WARNING: if you have an old version of DirectDVD HD 6 DONT UPGRADE! Otherwise, it will no longer work! Yes, the new version disables it. I had to use sys restore to make it work again! Keep the old oneSummary: Yes, I compaired the 2 and, DirectDVD HD is just superior...for what it can do...its very well worth trying. This app has so many options that powerDVD ultra does not have...
