"Convert any video to AVI, MPG, WMP, iPOD, 3GP, and more."
Pros: This video converter looks basic, but despite it's simple interface it works very well. Digital video converter supports the most popular formats, and converts videos in just two clicks. That is if you have the necessary codecs installed on your computer.
It's simple just select the video you want to convert and it's target format. You will also be able to tweak some settings, such as height, width, and frame rate. The result can then be played back on your favorite video player.
Cons: The interface could be improved.

Pros: Simpla and straightforward. The results are fine. No frills free converter that is reliable.
Cons: No options to change quality of output files in any way.

"Excellent for FLV and WMV for sure. Yet to test the rest."
Pros: Converts well adjustable to what ever output you would like and have the codec's for. Adjustable framerate output.
Cons: Playback feature is to be avoided usually errors and/or freezes. But still good for conversion.

Cons: If you've ever wondered how you can easily convert a 640X480 10 Meg AVI into a 320 X 240 4.5 Gig AVI, this program is for you. If you ever wanted to intuitively join several AVI files together, look elsewhere. The help files that come with it don't even mention file joining, and the website doesn't even appear to acknowledge this program's existence.
