You won't get what you bargained for with this faulty toolbar that promises quick access to Digg features but instead causes Internet Explorer to crash. Digg.com Toolbar promises to add a search field, RSS feed, and other goodies, but as soon as we installed it and tried to open IE, our browser crashed and the program's .dll file was cited as the culprit.
When IE was reopened, the toolbar didn't appear, even though it was listed under the toolbars and in the add-ons. Attempting to surf or press any keys immediately caused another crash. Attempts to repair and reinstall the toolbar weren't successful. To add insult to injury, the link in the toolbar's folder to find out how to uninstall the program didn't work, although we were able to go to Add/Remove programs to get rid of this bug-ridden add-on.
Freeware or not, this toolbar isn't a good deal. We can't tell you how it works, because it simply didn't work. Skip this IE add-on and save yourself some grief.
