fast to download, but, aren't they all when there is a bug inside?
malwarebytes flagged this as a very naughty little bit of kit. my advice is proceed with caution. it could be that it needs to log certain actions in the windows environment, but no other anti virus scanners have to do this, so why this one?. so i did not install although i may return to it at some future point just for some fun. interestingly, Kaspersky did not flag this when downloading, so it may be safe, but i trust malwarebytes 101% of the time and rely heavily on its results, which were negative for this one. leave this alone if you do not have a good antivirus scanner to frisk it down before install.
no brainer, i would give it zero stars if that option was available. if you do choose to proceed, get malwarebytes first and scan it, look at the results? post on here please, i would be intersted if you get the same outcome as me

None at all did not get a chance to use it.
Went to start the program when Ad-Aware live stoped it as Trogen
Win32.Moniter.SuperSpy,so weather Ad-Aware is wrong or not i unistalled it well Ad-Aware did when did a scan to make sure.
So its up to you if you want to download may be cnet can confirm if it is a TROGEN or not.
Finds (?) many programs/processes that COULD be malware.
Finds many programs/processes that CANNOT be malware. Asking its Database to check is no help. Many "unknowns" of wide repute.
For those that run each process in long lists through Google for fun. Get a life............
Lists your critical system processes and shows which ones are clean, and which ones "could be" infected. Then you can make a decision based on more info provided. I think it's critical Malware/Spyware cleaner for any Windows user.
May deter those looking for push-button fix solution as there's little work involved looking at the important listed data. But then again that's what makes it powerful software because using your common sense, is way more accurate then push-button.
For 100% confidence that your Windows system is indeed clean of malware/spyware that may "secretly" steal your data... download this software and let it scan your system files in seconds. You'll then see a clear big picture of how really safe your Windows system is.
And I don't know why previous reviewer said it's infected, when my AVG anti-virus and online multi virus file scanner says it's 100% CLEAN!
Found this cool little tool after trying out AntiEverything, their other software here on Cnet. Pretty effective tool. Does the job well.
None so far that I can see
Good for removing viruses and spyware already on your Pc. Works good like their AntiEverything program.
None. Deleted before full installation.
My Rising anti-virus software picked up the trojan as soon as I unzipped the file for this software. I suspect the trojan may pass through some anti-virus software leading to a false sense of this product's "ability" to detect trojans, etc.

My computer protection also found the Trojan, and Loggers. I asked the CNET customer support to please look into this programme, and after testing it, replied with the following; "Our Product Management Team has looked into this further and informed us that this product contains process monitor which is a part of the functionality of this application".
So it seems that Determination MX is OK. I haven't yet tried it as I have to drag it out of Quarantine. But at least we've got the Malware issue cleared up :-)
i loaded this and used their antieverything malware protection and when i did extra buttons show up in each progam. pretty cool looks like they are made to work together i will investigate more and report back
trying to find out more on proactive patrol so far so good just not heard much about them must be new
they are making some different products. which is good
i tried 3 different programs to remove a virus off my computer before i finally tried this. worked great and got it. succeeded where malwarebytes, hijackthis, and avg could not. very good program.
nothing i can tell
when everything else does not work then give this a try. worked great for me. couldn't believe it was free!
I review tons of security software, and this one is very innovative. Great to see innovation still exists, and active.
Just a few small things to be improved upon, but definitely not bad at all for a small software company to send out something like this. I have reviewed and give 5 stars to their other products as well.
GUI on Determination MX could be spruced.
No doubt about it. Proactive Patrol is very underrated, but seems they are just getting started.
I sent this to you all in a email, but if anyone from Proactive Patrol reads this, please please let someone make you a professional site! Your statement isn't coming across with your current site, maybe even discouraging people, but don't loose sight. I have tested all of your products, and they are very effective. I am impressed and wish you all the best!
Anyone else reading this, I urge you to give Determination MX a try! You can't beat their prices on the other software either for the effectiveness.
