This PDF converter didn't wow us with its feature set, but it demonstrated good speed and usability. Like similar programs, DeskPDF Professional installs as a virtual printer, allowing you to convert any printable document to PDF format. You also can select a file for transformation by right-clicking it or dropping it onto the program shortcut. DeskPDF Professional supports such PDF features as metadata, viewing options, and password protection. It also can merge documents, but it can't, unfortunately, bookmark them. The program comes with a handful of watermarks, and we like its ability to save settings in profiles for quick application later on. Overall, DeskPDF Professional provides solid functionality that ought to satisfy most people with basic PDF-conversion needs.Publisher's description

Version: DeskPDF Professional 2.5.8
Pros: The software is wonderful and so easy to use. I was desperate to find a pdf writer and found this one and I'm thrilled. Also though, the company is excellent. Follow up is quick and they always address any problems. I got two new computers and needed help from the company to download the products. Their follow up emails are so clear and plain. I can't recommend this company highly enough.

Cons: The user's guide isn't the best, but you can figure it out.

"Excellent Software with Great product support!"
Pros: I absolutely love DeskPDF(especially now that I learned how to combine multiple sheet Excel files into a single .pdf) and use it daily. I have recommended the software to many of my business colleagues and associates.
DeskPDF Pro's support has proven that my support was warranted. I also sell software and know licensing is critical for revenue control and unlicensed copying. I will buy the product again for my business for my other new computers. Keep up the good work.

"Too Long, Reformatted Document"
Pros: It added a button to Word.
Cons: It took longer than Adobe to create the PDF (which is REALLY long!) It reformatted the document which made the PDF unusable. I tried it twice. I deleted the software.

"Exactly what I was looking for!"
Pros: I love it - it does not shift, converts exactly as text is. I love the security features, especially the option to include a watermark. Well worth the money. I downloaded several trials and this one is it!
