Using the next generation proactive protection technologies, DefenseWall helps you achieve a maximum level of protection against malicious software, while not demanding any special knowledge or ongoing online signature updates. DefenseWall divides all applications into trusted and untrusted groups.
Untrusted applications are launched with limited rights to modification of critical system parameters, and only in the virtual zone that is specially allocated for them, thus separating them from trusted applications. In the case of penetration by malicious software via one of the untrusted applications (Web browsers), it cannot harm your system and may be closed with just one click. Version 1.74 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: DefenseWall HIPS 1.74
"Install it if you can? Driver problems..."
Pros: This is one of those programs that will not install. I tried for two days to install this and the only thing that worked was the error promp telling me that the driver was not installed or initialized properly. I gave this program a lot of my time trying to find out why the driver would not install. I went as far as to uninstall all the security programs on my machine. I have a restore program :-). I basically stripped down my win xp sp2 hp pavilion machine and in the end this program could not be installed. I contacted the author and was told that the program was not to blame. But of course. Funny thing is that these folkes did not offer me any help in getting this issue fixed. I felt like the only way to get help was to purchase it. NOT! I am no novice with this stuff and I will not purchase something that won't even install. I have news for these folks. Everytime this happens they loose a customer and since they don't care, I dont want it. A company that wants to sell products would make sure you could use the program first without paying for it. These folks did nothing and I won't be back. If I were you I would try a program called Geswall which Is in my opinion, a better option to compliment your computers security. I think all of us has come across a program from time to time that just causes more trouble than it's worth. I could not evaluate this program because I was unable to install it. What does that tell you? A word of advice<--- if you have a driver not installed issue as soon as you reboot, don't waste you time. The author needs to fix this issue and stop blaming the users computer configuration. This is the first program in a long list that I absolutley could not install. Would you buy a car you could not start?
