From NCH Software :Debut is a simple, easy to use video recorder that lets you capture video files directly on your PC using a webcam (video camera), or capture device (from video). This software can also capture and record almost anything that can be played or displayed on the computer screen. The program saves the video on your hard drive as avi, wmv or many other file types. Version 1.34 fixed some Video Render issues (for old DirectX versions and Windows 2000 and earlier).

"I cannot believe this software was really free!"
Pros: Intuitive to use, and produces high quality recordings from a variety of sources. I am using it to record images from a digital microscope. It also records audio so that I can recall the details of an experiment without detailed written notes.
Cons: No problems so far.
Summary: I was using another paid product that had no where near the reliability or features. Moving to Debut solved all of my data recording problems.

"Among the best & useful software i meet."
Pros: The video recorded was good quality & it work well with out any hang up problems. The capture video also very clear..it seem this software have maximize the potential of camera hardware.
Cons: Too much related tool need to install. Poor on sound recording.
Summary: Excellent on video recording but poor on sound recording doesn't give this software advantage compare to other software.

"Just Do what it suppose to Do"
Pros: the best Video Capture i have ever used , I'm Big Fan of NCH Programs , it needs a codec to start the Recording ,software has build in download manager to get this codec.Small program Compare to other programs do same Job. Better than Virtual Dub .
Cons: I wish i could Hear the Sound while Recording and a build in Burn Tool to burn the recording file direct to DVD.
Summary: Very Good , some they say the Quality of the Video not Much But u always Can adjust the Quality by selecting different Codec and Bitrate..
