From NCH Software :Debut is a simple, easy to use video recorder that lets you capture video files directly on your PC using a webcam (video camera), or capture device (from video). This software can also capture and record almost anything that can be played or displayed on the computer screen. The program saves the video on your hard drive as avi, wmv or many other file types. Featurs include: recording audio with the video (optional), multiple video and audio encoder settings, ability to adjust resolution and framerate of the output video, color settings for the output video can be changed, lets you record for set specified durations (h:mm:ss).
Version 1.33 adds the new feature: when viewing video files from Find & Play, you can now move forwards and backwards.

Pros: Very, very easy to use. Store in several formats. Good quality video. Superb.

"Easy to use, simple for inexperienced user, works well"
Pros: I appreciate the help in the setup procedure to get necessary associated software. I like the video and audio quality. I appreciate being able to use it immediately for my small project without having to research the menus and set options except sound (audio) source. Last and not least, it's actually free.

"Could've been perfect, but misses the mark."
Pros: It can record both the speaker and mic audio just fine (very few screencatchers can do that nowadays).
Cons: The frame rate is terrible and it crashes constantly.

Pros: I think this program is a great idea and is very useful to what i`m wanting to do.
Cons: The program is very slow and that may cause a few problems when i do advanced video's.

Version: Debut Video Recording Software 1.33
Cons: Starting this up makes the computer bog down to the point that video can barely play. It takes 30 seconds just to close another window. There is no option for choosing just a region or window. How do I give it 0 stars?
