Now here's a walk down memory lane. Modeled after the hugely popular MegaBall for the Amiga, this game maintains not only the look and feel of the original breakout style of game but similar sounds as well. This freeware download is easy to play, but don't expect to be wowed by graphics or fancy features--this is nostalgia, pure and simple. For a more up-to-date brick-smashing game, you'd be best to look elsewhere. However, DX-Ball is small, stable, and free. What more could you want? Bring back the '80s and break out DX-Ball.Publisher's description

Pros: Works in Windows XP Pro SP1
Cons: uses 100% CPU :(
they should hard made it an 32bit app not 16 bit 32bit would wast less cpu %age

Pros: I always was a fan of dx-ball, and consider it the best arcade game.
Cons: Unfortunately this version was unstable to my pc. Nevertheless i recommend this game to everyone hoping that i'm the only one facing that problem.

"Not an excitingly fun game..."
Pros: The game is no different than the paddle games of the ancient days. Great if your bored, but nothing special.
Cons: The game is incredibly slow, and you always get that annoying block that takes you forever to destroy..

"A great mindless game to waste time!"
Pros: It is just like Breakout and so simple to use. Perfect for when you're just bored.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
