Publisher's Description

From Eximius:

With this tool you can make movie-only and full disk copies for personal use on a single DVD-Recordable.

  • World's fastest video compression engine. Process a movie to fit on a single recordable in a matter of 15 to 30 minutes (depending on the speed of your computer).
  • Makes movies-only copies. Why waste space and image quality on unnecessary intros, menus and language tracks?
  • Makes also full disk copies. For those who want to keep those fancy menus and intros.
  • Written from scratch, it's not based on any old code, libraries or existing opensource projects.
  • Time critical parts written in assembly, for the highest possible speed.
  • Burn the movie with your favorite recording software!

"Lousy. Unethical did not honor product registration"

    March 29, 2012  |   By chingoncapitalino

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.2

    Pros

    Version 4.0 worked OK

    Cons

    Awful customer & technical support.

Updated version 4.2 did not function. Uninstalled software and proceeded to download clean version. DVD2one failed to honor my previous registration.

    Summary

    Bad news.

    "Small hitch with 2.4.2"

    October 17, 2011  |   By netrobbie

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.2

    Pros

After I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Lion 10.7.2 the application would not recognize a blank disc. Downloaded a fresh copy of 2.4.2 and that solved the problem.
    This is a fine product.

    Cons

    None that I can find.

    "AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!"

    August 7, 2011  |   By JOSHDALEY

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.1

    Pros

    Quick and Simple
Actually works, unlike Toast or Burn when doing DVD's
The final DVD works on all DVD players
Gives the option to compress to smaller disk size

    Cons

    Slightly old looking

    Summary

Amazing, I used Toast, burn and wondershare previously, all came up with an error massage or didn't work. This is the only 100% working all the time dvd burner for mac. And a reasonable price considering the price of others on the market. All you need is a VIDEO_TS folder.

A definate download for any DVD copier.

    P.s

works like a charm with RipIt

"I have used different versions for years"

    February 3, 2011  |   By missapple27

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.1

    Pros

You can quickly compress a dual layer DVD rip to a single layer DVD, or join multiple videos, pick and choose what audio or subtitles you want or do a movie-only burn.

    Cons

On the previous version, I had a few DVDs (I had burned with DVD2oneX) pause or stop while I watched them. I do not yet know if this will be a problem with this version.

    Summary

I also use Roxio Toast, but lately, Toast seems to be having more and more problems. I think Toast is past due for an upgrade. Often, I will not be able to use Toast to compress and burn a DVD but DVD2oneX will let me do what I want.

    "Works as advertised"

    July 21, 2010  |   By Sugith1

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.1

    Pros

Able to retain all menus from ripped DVD's.

    Cons

Compression can render some files unplayable.

    Summary

Good way to back up DVD's you've ripped. Program creates a duplicate of original DVD on regular capacity blank media. It's not a bit for bit copy as the content will have to be compressed to fit, which the program does automatically.

    "Good, but "SOME" annoyances..."

    November 20, 2009  |   By michelman60

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.0

    Pros

DVD2oneX seems to hold up to its promises. As I write (speak), I am copying a DVD and I can't wait to see the results.

    Cons

    * Meager (to non-existing documentation!)
    * No "Help button" !
    * No progress report. I was litterally flying "blind!
    * I downloaded the 30 day trial version upon installation the program told me that I am already into the 11th day of my 30 day trial!

    Summary

Again, I can't wait to see the REAL result of my undertaking. My notes in the negative comments section might become obsolete (after many hours and days of using the program), but it leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth that this expected from ME.

    Cheers
    David

    "Works as advertised"

    October 21, 2009  |   By Sugith1

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.4.0

    Pros

Option to choose exact copy of DVD or movie only version.

    Cons

Avoid list mode for file selection! Gets confused.

    Summary

Have used product extensively and works as advertised. Requires some kind of ripping software, (not included). But once ripped, DVD may be copied to a blank DVD with some loss in quality especially in "bonus" materials of a DVD. Compression artifacts become noticeable. But for general copying, works well.

    "Shadyyyyyy"

    June 24, 2009  |   By AzOOmA

    Version: DVD2OneX 2.3.1

    Pros

    Burns Video_TS to discs

    Cons

Does not allow back ups of encrypted data
Costs 39.99 Euros which is about $60
connected with a Bank of America Scam site

    Summary

This site says it costs $39.99 but on their site its in Euros and 39.99EU is about $60USD. after you put in your credit card # you have to verify and secure your card. For me it said it was Bank of America, where they asked me for the last 6 digits of my SS. and the Conformation e-mail I received was from a sender which is a known scamming site. So Im going to the bank first thing in the morning to see if all my money is still there. Buyer beware!
