Despite the lack of bundled clip art or fancy editing tools, DVD and CD Cover Print provides the basics for cover-creation tasks. After selecting between single-image and multiple-image formats, you double-click a section and drop your image into the main window. Templates vary from the simplest single image to the more elaborate Columbia Tristar Special Edition and MGM Special Edition. DVD and CD Cover Print offers basic image-editing features--including tools for adjusting colors, adding text, and drawing simple figures--so you can quickly retouch images without using an external program. Still, we would have preferred that the templates came with entries for chapter or song information, as adding them via the editor's text tool can be a painstaking process. The printing function works like any Microsoft software. All told, this utility will do for simple cover-creation tasks.Publisher's description
From North Cardinal Software :DVD and CD Cover Print allows the user to load cover art and print it to standard-size or user-defined specifications. This is a quick way for the user to print out DVD or CD covers to fit any size CD jewel case or DVD keep case. Features include the ability to handle images of different sizes and resolutions and resize them to the correct print size.
Multiple standard templates for different size CD or DVD cases: single, double, slim, and multi-disc; the ability to create user-defined templates for custom printing; and the ability to adjust printer output properties. The program allows selection of border sizes: automatic or manual adjustment; the ability to extract cover art directly from ZIP files; the ability to create CD, XBOX, PS2, or DVD cover art using single or multiple images; and the ability to print images at half-size for lower memory printers.

Pros: It's basic.
Cons: Not a free program and very basic, I wouldn't waste your time. I downloaded it and uninstalled it two seconds later. CNET should remove this from there list of options. It was a waste of time.

"Effective, easy to use, works perfect on XP"
Pros: Nice and quick program, very easy to use. No frills, no fuss,, just gets your cd/dvd projects done quickly and easily. I've made about 25 DVD double cases with multiple images and spline text without one single problem. I am running Windows XP
Cons: I don't have any negatives to report except that I have had trouble finding where I can buy the actual program so I can keep using it once my free trial runs out
Summary: I love this software! It has worked flawlessly for me. The price is right too. I just hope that I am able to actually purchase this software, both websites listed for this product do not work correctly

"Product is worthless, support is terrible and UI is OLD"
Pros: It's relatively cheap, but given the very limited functionality and reliability it should be free!
Cons: The user interface is vey old and outdated. When I encountered a runtime 380 error, the support responses were almost non-existant, and what was received was worthless. It doesn't work with Vista as far as I can tell, and the editor is a joke.
Summary: This is a great product if you don't plan on printing any covers or expect anything other than a charge on your credit card. A 5 year old using paper and crayon could product a better looking piece of software, and when it doesn't work don't hold ... read more >>
