Publisher's description of DVD-Lab Studio
From Mediachance:DVD-Lab Studio is now based on the DVD-Lab Pro compiling engine. Thanks to its transparent AL, it has proved to create one of the most compatible and least resource hungry DVDs. Each title in DVD-Lab Studio can now have 2 audio tracks: AC3, MPA, LPCM, or DTS, and also a subtitle stream. This is for multi-language home projects or for camera projects with original audio and a mixdown with music. DVD-Lab Studio can use now even more effects on menu objects. You can use various texture fills and new effects such as metal shine for effects such as iron, rust, gold chrome, and marble. In Studio we also added the requested play all and play list to its features list. Version 1.25 includes set subtitle or subtitle off . Loading of play all and playlist from previously saved file was disabled. Multiplexed MPEG with PCM audio will offer only to demultiplex and not quick mode.

Version: DVD-Lab Studio 1.25
Pros: Fairly intuitive to use; enables creation of reasonably slick, custom menus
Cons: Inability to play audio files in preview; Issues with ASPI writing module.
Summary: Inability to play audio (sometimes useful for chapter point creation) is a deal breaker. Burning issues are also unacceptable for a program at this price point.
