From Rose City Software :DU Meter helps you maximize your bandwidth potential by letting you see just how much of it is actually utilized at any given time. DU Meter can display bandwidth data in a real-time graph, a numerical display, or both. Other features include the ability to notify the user and/or disconnect all active dial-up connections when the data transfer rate drops below a certain minimum value, audible signals you can set to go off each time a specified amount of data is transferred, and a display of the number of total bytes transferred.
There are many reasons why you might want to monitor your network activity. Watching your data transfer rates can be very enlightening as you download a web page, email, or a software application. This will give you a much better idea of how long the operation will take. It will also let you know how efficient your Internet connection is. And it can protect you from dangerous activity. There is no better tool for the job than DU Meter.

Pros: Been used this stuff for aboved 2 years, and yet i shifted to Bandwidth Monitor Pro, they're same price. Get bandwidth monitor instead of..
Cons: Bandwidth Monitor Pro is better.

"Good ! But this one costs; NeMeter is free !"
Pros: definitely a good product. it displays the internet speed/bandwidth data in the form of a real-time graph plus in a numerical display. has other useful features too, but then so does NetMeter which is free !

"DUMeter Has to be one of the most convienient ways to monitor your Connection"
Pros: Once installed which again is a breeze, you are able to fine tune your prefrences, It doesn't matter if your on a 56k dial-up or your on a blisteringly fast T-3 + connection you are catered for. You can also have a place to view your data throughput in real-time or you can track back through your logs on a daily basis. DUMether also is able to give you a predicted forecast of your network data throughput quite the same as the actual data throughput, but the forecast is based on predicted figers and follows your internet usage trends. DUMeter has a very useful part of the program which allows you to see your Network utilization and it gives you a graphical account of this info and numerical iinfo also. To help you further expand the possibilities of this program you are able to export your data to various formats (.xls = Excel & .txt = Text File) This has the obvious benifits of being able to give data feeds to say a dynamic web application or the export feature will allow you to save the data to a Text file for easy archiving. There are probably more uses for this feature. This program can run on Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP. In all Hagel Technologies have spent some time improving this small but functional program and made it into what it is today DU Meter V3.07 build 200. This is a Cool program
Cons: The GUI of the application is not very "Up to Date" sort of speak, I think it could be a hell of a lot more appealing. No support for export to XML.

Pros: it allows me to see how much my son and daughter are downloading on a daily basis.

Pros: realy simple to use. no complicate setings and very few interferences with other software.no resource loading of the sistem.used it with a PI 233 MHz and works smoothly.
Cons: no GUI upgrades available & of course , you must pay for it
