From MicroOLAP Technologies :DAC for MySQL (also known as MySQLDAC) is the most powerful component suite for Delphi/C++Builder/MySQL.
This component suite allows you to create Delphi/C++Builder applications with direct access to MySQL DB without BDE and ODBC.
BLOB fields are supported. MySQLDAC was developed for easy migration of existing projects from BDE/ODBC scheme to the native one.
A MySQL library is not required.
TDBImageEx component for JPEG images support included in package for free (with sources). DAC for MySQL(tm) is a royalty-free product.
What's new in this version:
This release brings several optimizations and bugfixes since 2.7.0 release. Minor Design-Time errors fixed.

Version: DAC for MySQL 2.7.1
"Best DAC for MySQL out there"
Pros: Installed perfect in Borland C++ Builder 5.0.
Easy to use components, even for novice programmers.
Trial Version works well to try-before-buy.Cons: I wish I had found this application sooner!
