D-Volution for Mac

D-Volution is an application based on ffmpeg (http://ffmpeg.sourceforge.net). The aim of D-Volution is to encode DV files in Divx.

To encode your movie issued from iMovie (or other software), it is really easy:

  • export your movie in DV (.dv)
  • launch D-Volution and drag and drop the DV files on the main window
    • .
  • start the encoding with the green button

Some options are available in the left drawer of D-Volution : to change dimensions, audio and video bitrate, enabled 2-Pass encoding, cropping or disabled preview.

What's new in this version:

  • fix a bug.The final size asked should now be respected
