Publisher's description
From PC Tools :What do you need when your traditional antivirus protection misses a virus, worm or spyware? You need Cyberhawk to keep you infection-free. Cyberhawk uses behavioral analysis to detect malicious activity. Cyberhawk's ActiveDefense technology intelligently analyzes the behavior of processes & programs on a system and immediately halts any malicious action. It recognizes threats immediately & accurately, and shuts them down so they can't harm your system or compromise your privacy. Even the threats your traditional, signature-based antivirus & anti-spyware can't catch. Cyberhawk is completely effective out of the box. No difficult configuration, setup or maintenance is ever required.
Version 2.0.2.12 includes general improvements to overall protective capability.

Version: Cyberhawk 2.0.2.12
"Improving with every new release!"
Pros: Excellent malware detection, excellent support staff and response to inquiries, and overall excellent response to any program issues requiring attention. I don't expect any program to be perfect, but it's refreshing to see a company so committed to improving their product.
Cons: It would be helpful to have some additional detailed information provided on the alert screens. Currently it's rather general information only that's presented. But that certainly doesn't detract from the security being provided.

"Very good behaviour blocker/ antimalware"
Pros: Nice software. It has a great potential and I am sure it will progress soon.
A good add-on to your signature based security software( antivirus and antispyware).
It is improving with every newer version. It,s great that it has a free version.
Cons: Some conflicts but suppoert looks responsive and will help.
Also pops up on some legitimate applications but that is expected as some legitimate and malicious actions might be
similar.
Decription of malicious behaviour is a bit vague/ generalized( not detailed like Primary Response Safe Connect from Sana Security).

Version: Cyberhawk 2.0.2.12
Pros: This new version works even better. Tried it on Keyloggers, trojans, rootkits, and it works a charm.
No slow downs, and I am using ZASS along side with no problems.
Cons: Would like more access to logs. But then I am nosey ;-)

"Doesn't play well with others"
Pros: Because of the many system problems caused by Cyberhawk once it was installed, I never got to experience the protection claimed by the authors.
Cons: I really like the concept of a zero-day protection program and eagerly downloaded and installed the latest version of Cyberhawk. A couple of hours after installation, though, strange things began to happen with my computer. The computer refused to boot, the second hard drive crapped out, the second monitor blanked out, all the sound card and codecs disappeared (couldn't play any music). I don't know what else was affected, this was already too much for me to contend with! Fortunately, all these came back after some tweaking, (except the second hard drive-- I haven't re-installed that yet) once I un-installed Cyberhawk. Bottom line: this product is definitely not ready for prime time.

"works on some computers.........??"
Pros: Had it on my laptop and worked fine and hardly any drain on system, however read on....
Cons: Put it on my regular computer and it crashed it just like royboy said. Wouldn't let me reboot in any fashion and I had to reformate the whole thing. Be careful with this software. Unstable in my opinion.
