Publisher's description
From PC Tools :What do you need when your traditional antivirus protection misses a virus, worm or spyware? You need Cyberhawk to keep you infection-free. Cyberhawk uses behavioral analysis to detect malicious activity. Cyberhawk's ActiveDefense technology intelligently analyzes the behavior of processes & programs on a system and immediately halts any malicious action. It recognizes threats immediately & accurately, and shuts them down so they can't harm your system or compromise your privacy. Even the threats your traditional, signature-based antivirus & anti-spyware can't catch. Cyberhawk is completely effective out of the box. No difficult configuration, setup or maintenance is ever required.
Version 1.1.3.2 provides: better malware detection and miscellaneous bug fixes.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.3.2
Pros: Freeware.
Cons: This program bogs the system down dramtically, my normal cpu usage is 24% at the max when I'm just rowsing the internet and when this program is installed it jumps up to around 70%. It has a numerous reports of fals positives, for example: I tried updating one of my anti-spywares and I got a pop up saying that it was a high risk threat, that was done with several programs such as my anti-virus.
Free doesn't cut it, make a program that actually works. Reason I say this is that I shut off all my anti-spywares and anti virus for a little experiment, I then went to a virus site and started clicking anything that would give me a pop up and nothing poped up forwarning me or making a log of it, so I went to some more virus sites and did the same thing, still nothing. I then ran a bunch of scans from my various anti-spywares and my anti-virus, to my suprise a bunch of spyware and virus' were on my system.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.3.2
Pros: its free and seems to work well with virus protection plus it seems to block everything that attempts to get on the pc
Cons: it seems like u have to remove ur spyware shield or ur pc freezes....i was having trouble with spyware doctor until i turned off the OnGuard Protection...but that the only reason i give this a 4 star instead of 5

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.3.2
Pros: This program is stunning because it is not as intrusive and loud as other intrusion prevention programs like Prevx and
Antihook.
Instead it is extremely simple and only alerts you when really necessary. I love the program better than any other security program as it can make the average computer user have a high level of security without requiring heaps of technical knowledge that is required with other HIPS.
Best of all it is totally free, not a free beta that Prevx1 is and has excellent information on the website at: novatix.com
It really does offer protection against unknown threats virus scanners can't detect whilst using little system resources (like 6 Mb)
Cons: Lacks advanced configuration options, aimed at beginner computer users perhaps?

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.3.2
"Excellent Work Guys! Keep Going!"
Pros: Working scenario: Pentium 4 2.8 HT, 1024 MB RAM, 80 GB ATA-100 Seagate.
Running: Windows XP professional SP1 (updated without SP2), Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro 3.51.759.6511 (462), avast! 4.7.871 Professional, ewido anti-spyware 4.0.0.172, Cyberhawk Personal 1.1.3.2 and FreeRAM XP Pro 1.52.
Working in this scenario your software modules uses the following RAM: CHService.exe = 3.876 K, CHTray.exe = 776 K amd CHGui.exe = 12.740 K (Checked with Windows Task Manager).
Impressions: Although I have not had the opportunity to check this software protection capabilities (Thanks to God!), because I have not gone through any nasty phantom virus or spyware I really believe its proactive protection method is the new era approach. Cyberhawk seems to be excellent: nice interface, good menus and simple install and operation.
The memory usage is OK, but when the main GUI is opened it uses a little more of memory than the ideal usage level. When running in the background it's OK.
Decision: I will keep using and looking for further improvements in your software as long as it still being free.
Cons: While working in the mentioned scenario I figured out that this software has a noticeable processor reduction speed when opening, closing and working other software, for instance Microsoft Office Word 2003, Microsoft Office Excel 2003, Cinema Craft Encoder 2.70.02.10 and Babylon 6.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.3.2
Pros: I've been waiting for something like this that was freely available - all thanks to Novatix.
Appears to guard well against virus and spyware attacks.
No appreciable performance hit (no more than your average AV app).
Straight forward to install and use... minimal false positives - but at least that shows its working :-)
Provides an excellent second line of defence... particularly if your virus signature file is not always up to date.
Cons: None that I have been able to identify to date.
