Publisher's description
From PC Tools :What do you need when your traditional antivirus protection misses a virus, worm or spyware? You need Cyberhawk to keep you infection-free. Cyberhawk uses behavioral analysis to detect malicious activity. Cyberhawk's ActiveDefense technology intelligently analyzes the behavior of processes & programs on a system and immediately halts any malicious action. It recognizes threats immediately & accurately, and shuts them down so they can't harm your system or compromise your privacy. Even the threats your traditional, signature-based antivirus & anti-spyware can't catch. Cyberhawk is completely effective out of the box. No difficult configuration, setup or maintenance is ever required.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.1.3
"Descent idea, but the performance hit your computer will take isn't worth it."
Pros: Its free.
It comes with automatic updates.
It has a nice interface.
It shows information about how many events it has inspected and/or blocked.
Has ability to start with windows.
Cons: It will slow down your computer. While it did have its affects on my compute rin general, the largest hit came in internet browsing...Internet Explorer was slow to load and loading pages was very painful.
The events information in the main screen is a little ambiguous. It says it defends against 3,000,000 or something different events. Its really hard to contemplate how they got that number.
On a computer with antivirus and antispyware and Advert Removers with active shields you will see that CyberHawk will not find many problems.
As another review said, uninstall is quite slow. It also requires a reboot at completion.
Doesn't give you much in-depth information about what specific part of a process is bad if it detects something.

They advertise as being something which no other antivirus and antispyware has. While I can attest to the antivirus part, I cant say the same for antispyware. The product Spyware Terminator, which is also free, includes this same exact feature. That feature is called HIPS (Host Intrustion Prevention System). Its the same exact idea...it scans activity at the most critical level of your computer where generic antispyware and antivirus programs would never scna to begin with. And I think Spyware Terminator does its protection better and with less performance hits than CyberHawk.
Overall its a nice program, but I dont think you should completely ditch Antivirus/Antispyware as this program alludes to. Just stick to your favorite antivirus and go get Spyware Terminator.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.1.3
Pros: Seems to be a good back up to catch newer threats. It did catch a trojan that my antivirus (PC-cillin) and anti-spyware (Spybot) missed. It doesn't slow down my system, unlike other av products I've used which always slow my pc to a crawl. The great thing is that the program is free and doesn't seem to be lacking quality for it.
Cons: I'm not sure how effective it really is, or how to even test this. It does seem to catch things, but I've also seen it give some false positives--not too many though. There is no on-demand scanner, but the program is always running in the background so maybe it doesn't need it.

Version: Cyberhawk 1.1.1.3
Pros: I can't tell people enough about this program what is not to like!
This program saved my computer from a win 32host that was shutting down my firewall it blocked many viruses and stopped a whole lot of file injections, program changes and tampering.
Cons: No cons what so ever!

"You can't have too much protection :)"
Pros: Excellent product that plays nicely with my Norton Internet Security. I like the fact that it gives me extra protection, it's easy to use and it doesn't hog resources. It seems to work great as far as I can tell. And it's free, which makes it even better in my book. :) The company was also very responsive when I had a question about how to set up custom rules in Cyberhawk. They answered my email quickly and pointed me in the right direction.
Cons: I've only been using the product for a short time, but so far I don't have anything bad to say about it.
