Publisher's description
From Stephen Michael Schimpf :CyberSky is a colorful, easy-to-use program that transforms your computer screen into a planetarium, allowing you to learn about astronomy by exploring the sky in the past, present, and future. CyberSky duplicates the features of a traditional planetarium on your computer screen. It provides a way for you to learn the names and locations of the constellations and stars, and to become familiar with the motions of the sun, moon, and planets across the sky. Supports Windows XP visual styles. The traditional-style toolbars have been replaced with modern-style flat toolbars with grippers. Several small memory leaks have been corrected. "This one needs lots of help."
Cons: Poor graphic, no realism, hard to do anything in it.

Pros: I like this program a lot, and the price is right.

"Great software recommended at college"
Pros: My astronomy prof. at college recommended this to us. It's simple and doesn't cost too much. (And works on my laptop!) It includes some demos of things the prof. discussed in class.

"Excellent software, very fast, and prints great star maps"
Pros: I was looking for something that doesn't take up huge amounts of memory or disk space and is fast. I want to quickly find out what I'm looking at. This program does that, as advertised, and it seems "solid" with no crashes or odd behavior so far. I haven't found any bugs yet.
CyberSky also seems to be very accurate, showing the same results as other programs I tried out, but for less money.
One thing that stands out is the quality of the printed maps. Some of the other, more expensive programs I tried had nice on-screen displays, but the printed maps were sometimes really lousy. CyberSky prints spiffy maps, at least on my printer.
