Version: CyberPatrol 7.5.1
"works well, needed some tweaking to filter properly"
Pros: This worked the best of the parental control programs I tried and will be the one I buy.
Setup is easy and it automatically finds users and lets you create a profile for each user.
This program did not have the annoying tendency of certain others that required a password for the user to do anything - once logged in, they can do what their profile permits them to do. ie. their login password is the only one they need to log in and use the internet - as it should be.
Any attempt to enter obscene words in Google resulting in them being replaced by dots - so they can't even type in the search. Neat.
Cons: Minor gripe - it would be nice to be able to clear the Activity Monitor. My 9yo son's activity log showed some terrible things after I logged in as him to test the program!
Second minor gripe - I had to add some keywords to prevent dating/matchmaking sites appearing but this was easy to do.
Note that you have to buy it to make it run in quiet mode (without the program window appearing on startup). This is fair enough, I guess.

"Works well but license is for one machine."
Pros: Works very well, updates itself quickly, and is easy to configure.
Cons: The license is for one PC only. Each PC needs it's own license at full price.

Version: CyberPatrol 7.5.1
Pros: It is a very nice program. Really blocks almost all the porn site I know. Even the site for keylogger.
Cons: I notice that when you download a keylogger from your email or from download.com it doesn't block it. Maybe in my setting I'm not yet sure about it. Still in the testing period.

"Customer Support is Terrible"
Cons: This product ended up on my machine - presumably as a byproduct of installing a game for my 6-year old son. I did not intend to download it, but there it was. The process to uninstall lacked grace, to say the least. No entry in Add/Remove Control Panel to remove it. Fortunately (?) stumbled across instructions telling me not to delete files. I followed stated procedure to right click and uninstall - ignore that dialog that appears commenting on WinSock apps running. But the app did not uninstall and this is where the story really begins. Called customer support - where I found the instructions for uninstalling to be a primary feature. There is no apparent way to actually talk with a support person. It kept referring me to their website. Of course, had I not had a second computer to get to the Internet, this referral would have been useless. It also said, given the situation, some kind of corruption was likely - I needed to reinstall CyberPatrol again to remove the corruption and then try re-uninstalling. Well, this is also of little value when you cannot get to the Internet to reinstall. But I did manage to get around their software and access their website. Downloaded the latest version of the software, as instructed, but when attempting to install it, it said it could not install because an older version of it was detected on my machine. This has been a particularly annoying encounter with customer support.

"Ton of features make it difficult to use."
Pros: It's nice to see all of these features, but it's not very intuitive to manage. I tried ContentProtect which has all the same features but is easier to use.
Cons: Recommended for computer savy users.
