I am a PowerDirector 9 user, just found out that new version has released. 11 is actually a lot better than 9, it provides lots of cool features and effects which makes my video like pro!

Hope it will release the version for mac!

Powerdirector's UI is simple to use and provides many features for users to create fantastic videos. My suggestion: Try to turn off other apps when running the software, it makes it running smoothly!

Very limited TTLE EDITING fonts etc.
Title templates supplied are comic like.
Audio editing is virtually non-existant without thier other software.
Magix is the best if/when it works.
Adobe 2nd but has less audio features.Summary
No such thing as an easy to use movie editing prog with good features.

Lots of great features compared to PD10, but......
Cons
PD11 is fragile. It will crash after as few as 10 minutes or will last an hour before crashing. It 'renders' at will making it impossible to continue editing and the only solution is to shut it down and re-open and cross your fingers. I have spent over $400 upgrading RAM, video card you name it, nothing helped. Downloaded CyberLink's patch designed to fix the problem and that did nothing
Summary
PD10 was great so I happily upgraded, but there is something wrong with PD11. After many, many e-mails to and from their Support team they have given up on me, and I think I will do the same and try another video editing software that actually works.

I never used Powerdirector 11 or before versions, but this one is really good for a home video maker. My Mom and Dad also get used to it within the first week and made a lot of fun videos.

This thing is way over hyped. It seems as though Cyberlink is paying for positive reviews. There product is not worth it. I would recommend trying Lightworks.
