CubicConverter allows different types of panoramic images to be converted into and out of cubic format QuickTime VR movies.

Panorama types converted include equirectangular, cylindrical, cube faces, and mirror ball images. Extractions & conversions can be made from existing QuickTime VR movies. Exported formats include cubic format QuickTime VR movies, and PTViewer Java and Director Shockwave templates.

What's new in this version: bypasses the workaround introduced in version 2.2 which is no longer necessary as Mac OS X 10.4.7 has corrected the bug introduced in Mac OS X 10.4.6 which could cause CubicConverter to crash on certain machines during cube face conversion when using G4/Altivec/Velocity Engine acceleration. The result is faster conversions on affected machines.
