CtoFB3 is a FutureBASIC^3 Application that translates "C-Language" functions into FutureBASIC^3 LOCAL FNs requiring minimal editing (when CtoFB3 reaches final release status).
CtoFB3 is still in the developmental stage and has been released as an aid for translating C code. Most common C statements and operators are currently handled. Code fragments and entire programs can be translated, including those containing multiple nested include statements.
This Application allows FutureBasic^3 programmers who have, or have access to, substantial C Libraries, the ability to integrate that C code into their FutureBASIC Applications much more easily.
What's new in this version:
- "typedef struct" now handled
- Conditional statement in printf function is now parsed correctly
- Spacing and other fixes for conditional statement parsing
- Minor filename fix when opening "c" files using the menu
- Translation of "*address++ ^= value;" at beginning of a file (outside a function) fixed previous release
- Now beeps when finished processing a file
- exit() function translated
