Crossword Compiler will help you create, edit, and publish crossword puzzles and Sudokus. Create vocabulary puzzles in seconds--the program will fit words into a blank grid automatically. It includes features for clue writing and puzzle exporting, with many professional features, but also ease of use for beginners. Export interactive crosswords to a Web page using the Crossword Compiler Java applet. It also has a powerful grid-filling system, a library of grid patterns, and many export options.

Version 7.1 adds a new integrated Sudoku (number place) and a puzzle generator, including interactive Sudoku export for the Web.

Version: Crossword Compiler 7.1

"Crossword Compiler is the most user-friendly programme I have ever used"

Pros: To list everything I like about Crossword Compiler is an impossible task. I have used this software since 1994 and never felt tempted to try something else. The Help files are great and if you need more help, the publisher replies to your queries promptly. If you invest in this programme, get the necessary word lists and WordWeb dictionary as well.
