Don,t need this crap in my LT. I try to keep junk out of my Laptop and Desk Top.
I don,t know how I got this. I took it out unstalled before it got into my control panel.I hope it is gone. Cnet take this out of your downloads do

Other Toolbars were not as good as crawler toolbar is because cawler toolbar will tell you if a site is safe or not!!!!!

Just keep improving the toolbar!

"Hijacked my homepage"

Nothing It didn't do what I wanted it to do, false advertising
Cons
It hijacked my Google homepage, even when i changed it in the control panel. I uninstalled it, yet it is still there. I believe it is malware.
Summary
Was supposed to be a form filler, yet it was just antor search toolbar, and hijacked all my stuff. MALWARE!

Have been using the Crawler toolbar and McAfee Site Advisor. McAfee will warn you once you get to a website if it's bad. Crawler actually stops you before you get to the site with a big RED box giving you a choice.
Cons
There are too many add-on's included with the toolbar.
Summary
It's very good at STOPPING you from going to a bad website to start with. It pops up a big RED box that gives you the options to either go ahead and take your changes, or don't go to the site. I think everyone should use Crawler.

"It has blocked a LOT of sites that contain spyware"

Even when I'm doing a simple search on Google, it will catch websites that contain spyware and warn me to either block the spyware of not go to the site.

Summary
I love this product! I highly recommend it! Before I downloaded and started using this product, my computer was infested with spyware. After I removed all of the spyware, I started using this toolbar and it has prevented more spyware than I can count!

"Crawler Toolbar with Web Security Guard"

Pros
It works well on Firefox.It can block malicious content,tells you if the website you are in is suspicious and Web Security Guard's database is easy to update.I have never seen any adware or spyware from this toolbar and I have lots of anti-Malwares.
Cons
It doesn't work well in Internet Explorer 8.It sometimes causes IE8 to crash and the toolbar has problems updating,it fails to update.The toolbar is kind of useless without Web Security Guard.
Summary
Crawler Weather is a separate program from the toolbar.If you decide to install Spyware Terminator I recommend you don't use its Real-Time Shield because is too intrusive.You can easily disable Spyware Terminator's Real-Time Shield and automatic start-up so you can use it as a backup anti-malware scanner and remover.

There were no settings in the toolbar for spyware protection.
